Sorry about the lack of updates, I’m planning on making a decent post pretty quick here, just letting you all know I’m still alive!

Bird Wyvern gems. Nuff Said.

 

By far the worst item to need on Monster Hunter Tri. These “precious” gems come from the most retarded and boring monsters in the game.

Meet the Great Lizard Family:

 

Clearly, the creator of these monsters had little imagination.

They have pretty much the exact same moveset, except the Baggi variety can put you to sleep, well they both can…but I’m talking figuratively here…

 

This rare drop of thiers have a relatively high chance compared to other monsters

(12% for a Bird Wyvern gem from Great Baggi, compared to 5% of a Saphirre drop from Lagiacrus)

 

Well Capcom has a very simple way to make sure acquiring these items as tormenting as possible…

Step 1. Create boring and simple monster

Step 2. Make it drop a sought after item and MAKE IT THE ONLY ONE TO DROP IT

Step 3. Make it a high drop chance, so players won’t be discouraged

Step 4. All Equipment that requires it needs lots of them. ex. 5 bird wyvern gems

Step 5. ???

Step 6. Profit.

 

Now I wonder…WHY THE FUCK AM I STILL PLAYING THIS FUCKING GAME?

DAMN YOU CAPCOM!!!!

What’s next? Needing more than one Skypiercer for a piece of equipment?

Spicing things up.

I have been unsatisfied with my writing on my blog this past week. Mainly due to that I hardly have much to post about when it’s one single topic. I’ve decided that I need to broaden my subjects to keep my writing fresh and entertaining. This monster hunter nerdgasm just isn’t working 100% for me, so this will become a gaming-like blog, of course I will still post monster hunter related stuff, but also talk about my other interests and stuff. A “me” blog if you will, kinda what I had before this one.

Well with that said, I’ll post again some other time with some new material.
